Chocolate protein breakfast pancakes

When your kids dont realise the clocks have gone back and they are actually up at 5am…the only thing you can do is some experimental cooking with chocolate… The result is a winner!!

40g oats

3 eggs

1 tbsp chia seeds

2tbsp milled linseed mix (lidl, aldi)

2tbsp cacao powder

1tbsp maca powder (aldi)

2 tbsp honey

1/2 tsp bicarbonate of soda

2 tbsp milk to nake it runny if it thickens

Some raisins, if you like

Put it all in the mixer and whiz until as smooth as it goes

Coconut oil on a hot plate/griddle

Blob on the mixture, loosening with milk if required

Cook on low heat for 10 mins turning once.

I served with butter on top, but you don’t need to

Delish!
